I know that you are too busy this week to do anything with the Red Cross.
I also know thet there will be a lull next week at KU end so you will pro-
bably start your war fund drive the following week. At any rate, I want
you to know that I greatly appreciate your handling-the drive on “the
hill” and I am sure that when the drive is over you can give me the same
answer you did when I asked you whether the Allen brothers ever won any
games. To wit: "Well, we gave a fairly good account of ourselves."
