Looking over the paper the other day, I came across a list of
scores, and included was one reading something like "Kansas 56,
Missouri 35".

Is that correct, and do I understand that you really beat your old h ;
rivals by any such score? My Lord, what do you feed those boys of \
yours? Congratulations, and the same to your entire squad.

    

Announcement was made the other day that the Seminary would have a
new gym next year, and the ground would be broken in June. Can you
give me any information regarding a gym, type of floor, and anything
that might possibly occur to you and that might be in a book we
could use or plans that we could look over? If so, I shall be very
grateful indeed if you will loan them to me, and you may be assured
that you will get them back again. We want 4 good big floor, the
best there is; then in our own place, we hope to go places.

I am still reading your book, studying it carefully and getting as
much information and as much enjoyment out of it as I did when I
first picked it up. Some day I am going to ask you to autograph it
for me.
