Dear Dr. Allens:

May I congratulate you on again winning the Big %ix Base |
ketball championship. -

I have been asked to give a short talk on temperance before
the Methodist Sunday School here next Sunday morning. I feel that
the same information is repeatedly given in these talks so I am

wondering if you would be so kind as to give me some statement or
idea on the matter form the standpoint of conditioning athletes.
Your reputation as a coach will give a ring of authority to any
statement which you would care to make which, I am sur@; will be
very impressive to the boys in this Sunday School.

May I thank you in advance for whatever assistance you may
see fit to give me in this matter.
