I desire to commend to you Don Thompson, & senior
in our University of Kenses from our School of Education.

I have known Don Thompson for about eight years. He
graduated from the Lawrence Memorial High School in this city.
Don is 21 years of age and a varsity track athlete. He has
competed three yoars on the varsity two mile team in the fall
and on the varsity track team in the spring. His events are
the 860 yard run and the mile. He has also run on the medley
mile reley | , :

Don Thompson has been a boy who"ss had to work his
way through college. He is @ very earnst young man and desires
to enlist in the Air Corpse ee .

During the summer session I heave under my control
the recreation of the sumer school and Don has worked for me
at that time and hes given splendid setisfaction.
