Dear Mr. Tunney: We have a young man in our department who is very desirous of becoming attached with your bureau as a physical instructor. His name is Steve Meade, and I am wry happy to write you in his behalf. Steve Meade is a major in our Department of Physical Education. He lacks one hour of graduation for his Bachelor's degree, which he will complete at the end of this semester. He is also enrolled in nine hours of graduate work at the present time. Steve has made excellent grades as an undergraduate and has consistently been placed on the Dean's Honor Roll. We con- sider him one of our finest students in this department. Steve is a big fellow, 254 pounds, six feet one-half — inch tall. He is 25 years of age. lie has played on our varsity football team for two years. Last summer Steve was director of one of the playgrounds in Kansas City, end did a splendid job. He is an excelient worker, intelligent, cooperative, and capable. He has won the/! high regard of his fellow students and his instructors here at the University.
