TO WEOM IT MAY CONCERN: In my several years that 1 have taught back at Springfield College, Springfield, Mass., I came.to know Ralph Erickson very intimately. In those years he was completing his work on his Master's Degree in Physical Educations I have met a great many men in my coaching school experience and in my long tenure here at the university, and I must say Erickson fills the bill thoroughly as a mm's man, as a gentleman, as a well trained Physical Education leader and as a’ manwho has faced the real test of fire and disappointment and at the same ‘time has emerged.at the top of the heaps, I was thrown with him intimately two years at Springfield and if space did not forbid I could tell you of some wonderful qualities he has that the more than average fellow in no way possesses. He is clean, courageous, and capable. He has dealt with men long enough to know men's problems and in my opinion will go a long way in college work if given the opportunitye His judgment is that of a mature man, yet he has that kindly regard for the ways of men that an administrator should possesses. I am recommending him without reservations I have an exceptionally high regard for him and his works Very truly yours, Dr. Forrest C.
