Canon City is a member of the South Central League of Colorado which is com- posed of high schools from Colorado Springs, . Pueblo-Centennial, Pueblo-Central, Trini- dad, Walsenburg, Florence and Salida. It is onecof the two strongest leagues of the state and competes in class A in all sports. Canon City itself has gone to the Colorado state finals five times in football and has an excellent football background. I am giving you the above information | i to indicate it is a splendid opening for x an ambitious football coach. Would you be so kind as to give us the names of any men who you might recommend? Mr, Robert°W. Raugh, a former coach at Colby, Kansas, ‘has applied. I would app- reciate a frank statement from you concern- ing this individual. Anything that you can do to help us will be greatly appreciated. Very truly yours, Oe acme. Frank M. Hickey Principal a3 FMH sdk
