Dear Dr. Allen:

I have applications from Gordon Gray and Ernest Vanek for
work in physical education and basketball.

I should like to have you give me an opinion regarding the
merits of each of these two men, especially in physical
education classes. I assume, since both of them have worked
with you as assistants in freshman coaching, thet they are
trained in basketball. However, we want to do something in
physical education as well and I want to know what these men.
can do to help us.
