Dear Dr. Allen:

We have received the information regarding Floyd Hanson and
Forrest Hardacre. We were most interested in Mr. Hanson since he
is a married man and would not be so likely to be caught in the
draft. Mr. Hanson made a personal interview, and we gave him very
serious consideration but did not elect him because we felt that
following the success of Mr. Raugh, it would probably be unwise
for us to secure the services of a man who had not met with greater
success than Mr. Hanson has to date.

I wish to thank you for the assistance you have given us. I
realize that it is getting pretty late in the year to secure ap=
plications from the cream of the crop.
