Dear Doctor Allen:

Vr. Don Foss has made application with our firm for a position
as en insurance adjuster. He states that he partially supported
himself during the time he was going to school as an assistant
basket ball statistician for you.

We would like to hire a good, honest, hard working, conscientious
young men end Mr. Foss apperently fulfills these requirements, but
knowing your fine attributes for judging of young capable men, we
are wondering if you would mind giving us your opinion.

We were fortunate in getting to listen to you at your meeting

before some of the Ke U. Alumni recently at the Lassen Hotel and

may we compliment you on the very fine talk that you made there.
