T have been asked by Mr. James De Light to stete
my opinion of his ability as to his mechanical skill and leadership

- It is my understanding that he desires to enlist
in the Service.

I might state that I have know Mrs Light as a student
at the University of Kensas for several years, where he was 2 student
in medicines I have foumd him courteous, affable and intelligente
He has an especial adaptability as to fitness in mechanical develop=
mente In fact, I have consulted with him in his invention of his
heat therapy machine. This is used on the articulations of the athletes
in the treatment of athletic injuriese Mrs Light has much telent along
mechanical skill development. The fact that he is now employed in the
X-Rays Department of Bell Memorial Hospital attests to the fact that
his intelligence is mther exceptionale

Mre Light has & very friendly and engaging personality
and he shows excellent leadership among mem. He is clean, capable
and cooperative and I am happy indeed to recommend him to you for your
