Ded, I wonder if you would explain how you happen to have such a deceiving nicknare. It started when I was a boy about 3 years old. My grandfather came to live with us for several years. We wes rather stocky of build and quite ective, and we seered to have some very siriler characteristics. He res very ective for his ege and I guess I wes just about enough like him to always be under mother's feet, so it fell to grandfather to keep re out of the ways We roamed all over the farm. My uncle, who lived just west of our place, said one day thet I certainly Look- ea and acted like grandfather, so before long everyone said = "There goes Ded and Granded". So it started end hes followed we ever since, all through high school, college, and my 1&6 yeers of teechine. Did I heer you say 18 yerrs of teaching? Physical Education. The first 5 years out of college I taught matheratics end coached ethletic teams. Then you have reelly been In physicel educetion for 16 yeers, because coeching is a definite pert of our work. During these 16 yeers of teeching you heve worked with a greet meny boys. Do you heve any idea as ta the nurber of different individuals you heve hed in your clesses? | As neor es I cen estimete, it would be about 3,000 boys.
