Dear Lottie:

I am sorry as the dickens that we have a class at 9:50
‘in the morning on December 14th here at the University.
Missouri, Kansas State, Nebraska and Kansas are playing
‘that night in Municipal Auditorium in double headers. We
also play the 15th of December there. |

Therefore, I am afraid that outting my class, driving
down and back would be just a little more than I should
plan at the present time. I dislike, like tho mischief,
to turn you down, but my basketball schedule wiil require
@ certain number of outs and I an afraid I better not
attempt this. I hope there is some other way ‘that you
can work it out, but I do appreciate your asking me end
wish that I could come, F
