Although I attended K. U. some few years back I never had the pleasure of actually meet- ing you. As you may remember, I am in charge of the Douglas County - World War II Memorial Book which will include the pictures, names and service records of all Douglas County servicemen and women. I am taking the liberty of enclosing one of our descriptive mailing-pieces with the thought that you may find time to read it and pass it along to your friends. Since there is no obligation to buy one of the books there is no reason why the Veteran's Club and any other servicemen and women at Kansas University should not be represented 100% . Service record blanks may be cut out of the Journal-World or may be obtained from Mrs. Le E- McPheeters at the Community Building. I will appreciate any help or suggestions you might cere to make in order to make the Douglas County- World War II Book have a 100% coverage of the county. incerely : Vd Don M. Richmond snl
