I am very happy to receive your letter of
the 10th instant and glad that you have decided to attend ;
the University of Kansas, ‘

‘I would suggest to you that you, if it is at |
all possible, enroll in school for the summer session, as |
the priority system will be put into effect beginning next |
fall, However, this system will not effect former students. ,
Preference will be given to Kansas veterans,. Kansas high school
and junior college graduates, #kill@ren of KeU,. alumni, students
who attended the school under the various military programs énd
wish to return to the university upon release fromthe service,

This priority plan is necessary in erder to |
insure the proper care of Kansas veterans and students in’the |
event that it becomes compulsory that we refuse admittance to ~
