December 23, 1942. Mr. Wayne Replogle, Co Spe, Physical Instruction School, Squad 72, Naval Training Station, Norfolk, Virginia. Dear Mr. Replogle: : Your gym trousers are still hanging in Dr. Allen's office, and I have an offer of $5.50 for them from Mr. Shenk. I told him I would let you kmow, so if you want to make a deal with him I think you could do it. I'm sorry we couldn't get this all straightened out before you left. Dr. Allen and the basketball team left yester- day at noon on their Eastern trip. I don't believe they are too hopeful of winning many games, but in spite of all the transportation difficulties I think they will have a good time. Hope things are going well with you. Merry Christmas’ Sincerely, Secretary, Dept. of Physical Education.
