Harvey Miller of Washington, D.C., and Mr. Joyner of Winston-Salem have furnished us a list of those expected to attend the Winston-Salem meeting as above, instructing that we advise all concerned as to the direct rail service. We have also been in touch with Mr. Joe Triner of Chicago who will use through Phllman from Chicago, occupying bedroom. For your information, the Norfolk and Western Railway is the most direct line from the Midwest to Winston-Salem, operating through Pullman sleeper daily from Cincinnati leaving 10:15 PM on new modern deluxe train "The Pocahontas" arriving Winston-Salem next afternoon 2:00 PM, This sleeper has lower and upper berths as well as private bedrooms to be occupied by one or two people. Return sleeper leaves Winston-Salem 3:00 PM arriving Cincinnati early in morning. You can purchase round trip tickets to Winston-Salem at a saving in cost. We have informed Mr, Triner and others that we will be glad to operate this Pullman sleeper or extra Pullmen sleepers through from Chicago on September 6th or 7th or date desired if we have as many as 12 desiring space through. This sleeper would leave Chicago 12:50 PM Central Time via Pennsylvania RR., arriving Cincinnati 8:15 PM, to pickup others at that point.
