You remember my statement that at some time
a David met a Goliath and you questioned whether you
had a David in your squad. It seems strange that some-
times we have very near to us persons with an un-
suspected power or ability. I believe your son, Bob,
can be credited with being a David from Kansas which slew
the Goliath from California. Certainly hopes were dim
when the California team presented itself for inspection.

Anyway, Mrs. Reid and I are happy with you in
your victory.
