As the title race evolves into heated battle, the saga of another
Kansas rush to the forefront becomes 4 reality.

With Oklahoma already having been sidetracked by the precision-
like attack of the Kansas com. successful defense of the Missouri-
Oklahoma co-championship laurels falls to Goach George Edwards' Tigers

The Fates have been kind to the Missourians and the impending en-
counter finds the Jayhawks meeting the titleholders on the Brewer
Field House court where the Tigers have won 10 consecutive games. In
their last appearance before a Missouri crowd, the Kansans were deci»
sively trounced.
