Dear Mr, Allens

We are going to employ a man in our department next
year as head coach of basketball who can also serve as an assistant
football coach and do some scouting for football, Ability as an ©
end coach will perhaps fit in best so far as his football ability
is concerned, He would also be expected to handle our freshman
baseball in the spring and to teach basketball in our Physical
Education Teacher Training program, I am interested in a man who
will cooperate with other members of the staff as well as to fit
into the policies of our Institution.

If you know of a man or men who you think capable :
and with experience who can fit into this kind of a picture, I will
- appreciate it very much if you will give me their nemes and addresses
at your earliest convenience,

it is not improbable that the man we have substituting
this season in basketball will receive the appointment, however,
we.are anxious to canvass the field in an effort to get the very
best man available for the job.
