DEPARTMENT OF INSTRUCTION February ao, 1938 Dr. Forrest C. Allen University of Kansas _ Lawrence, Kansas Dear Phog: Thank you for your letter of February 14 regarding Reverend Poteat. It so happens that I haven't had the pleasure of running into this chap, but will do so in the near future and see if we can't interest him in an active way in our athletic program here. Things seem to be going along reasonably well with us here in Cleveland. I have no personal cause for complaint, I guess, and trust the same holds true for you. From Porter's note, it would appear that the Basketball Rules Committee meeting would probably be in Chicago. However, I don't know that I would want to decide the thing, without referring it to the Executive Committee, on a 9-10 vote, as he has done. Looking forward to seeing you in either Chicago or New York (wherever the meeting is held), and assuring you that I am always glad to see a letter addressed to me from Kansas, I am as always Sincerely yours ay FAR: McG Floyd A.
