Dear Mre Allen:

The Iowa High School Athletic Association is planning
a Coaching School and Officials' Clinic to be held
at Marshalltown, Iowa on December 27 and 28, 1940.

We are very anxious to have you present at that school
to talk to our coaches and officials on the subject
of high school basketbal 1 coaching and officiating.

We are trying to line up some other outstanding
coaches and we are extremely anxious to have you a

member of our coaching staff.

We realize that this invitation is coming rather
late. We don't want you to feel that we have can-
vassed other coaches prior to inviting youe The
fact is that our Association has just decided in the.
past few days to conduct this school and thet is the
reason for what appears to be a late invitation.

We would appreciate very much in knowing what your
fee would be should you find it possible to be pre=-
sent with us on one or both of these day.
