I regret that I have not been
able to give ybu an earlier answer concern~
the matter of broadcasting the Kansas games
but I was not able to get the desired infor=
mation until just recently and had in mind
dropping down and seeing you “in the flesh".

As I told you,and I wish you
would give my reason as not being able to
arrange my schedule so as to do the work in
a way that the job would demand,but the real
reason is that I am under contract to W.1I.B.W.
until April Ist I940 and they do not care to
have me identified with any other station.

They can hardly be blamed for this
stand; it may be next year that I may be able
to arrange to do this work and I hope you will
be kind enough,if the opportunity presents it=
gelf again,to keep me in mind.

I expect to see several oF your
games---at least the first half and will be
nappy to give your games all the “oir space”
that I can.

By the way "Phog" where can I get
the Basket Ball Rule Interpretations as deter-
mined by the Big Six Basket Ball coaches in Kan-
gas City?

If you have a draft of them I will
be gled to have them.
