Dear Dr. Allen,- a

: I did not get any word to you yesterday ee
for I just did not have time to get it done. This morning ay
I was waiting for the Yrs. visit, thinking I could tell
you better about Erns condition after he had been here.
He has just left.

Ern grew much more comfortable yesterday
afternoon after you left, was quite himself during the
evening and had apretty good night. His tempe was about

99.2 during the day and this morning. It was up this
noon to 101, but Dr. says there is nothing to be alarmed
about- no trouble in the chest, but a"flu" condition.

I hae had trouble about his bowels but Dre has
just given me something and hope to have results soon.
I feel that when it works, it probably will take the
temperature downe

I must hurry to get this off. I will not write you
unless there is some significent change in his condétion.

Just as soon as we can get rid of this flu- and I
realize that is nothing to make light of- perhaps we can
get at the foot again. It seems 0O.K.
