Dear "Phog";

You no doubt have word that Dad will not be able to work
basketball for a little while and has cancelled several
games in which K.U.participates.

Naturally I realize they are Bsig League” but I also think
there is no one outstanding to fill his place. I believe

T am qualified and so am asking for some if not all of the
assignments.

The games Dad had that I could fill,in which K.U. plays,are.:
Jan.2-Carleton College @ E.U.; Jan.10-Kansas State @ K.U.;
Jan.£0-K.U.@ Kansas State; Jan,22-K.U.@ Iowa State.

I have written Mike Ahearn and Geo Veenker about these
gemes and hope that some way some how I will be able to
serve in some of them. All IT ask is an opportunity to
serve in a few Big Six games,as I feel I am qualified
and that my work will be satisfactory.
