"Phog" none of us would ever/done
the things we did had I known that there was a
fracture; Everyone who asked me about the injury
was told that there was no fracture; that the
pictures didnt show a fracture. That was the
information I got the night it was hurt and
could do nothing otherthan operate on those in-
structions; I know you would not have entertain-
ed giving my foot any treatment had you known that
it was fractured. I told you that; That wes what
I was told.

The swelling became pretty bad and
Dr.Riley told me that it should be seen by a good
orthopedic surgeon. We tried to contect Dr. Dixon
but he was out of town end would not be home until
the first of the next week. Marg wrote a complete
history of the case to Dr.Kreuscher and he called
me the next night and wanted to see the foot and
said "Bring those pictures with you". He examined
me and took several pictureg and found that the
first picture,or pictures,I hdd taken showed two
small fractures; thét was the I2th of December;

The swelling Dr.Kreuscher diagnosed
Lymphatitis and the medication for this was inter
menus injections of iodide and another medicine,
as tough to take as it is to spell,sulphsmillelide.

The cast has been on nearly four
weeks now and has two more to go.

Looks like there are too many fouls
in the basket ball games. dest regards and best
