Copies of the proposed bills for the 1941 legislature
on School Transportation, Free Textbooks, and School
Retirement are enclosed.

These measures are the result of the work of the
legislative committee of the Kansas State Teachers
Association. The School Retirement and the School
Transportation bills have been passed upon favorably
by the Legislative Council.

We are calling these measures to your attention so
that you will know what the teachers! association
is doing and so that you will be able to exert your
influence with a full awareness of what is proposed.

Your cooperation with the legislative program will
be greatly appreciated.
