Dear Mr. Stewart:

Your letter of April 28rd addressed to the Director
of Athletics, University of Kansas, has been referred
to me as Direoter of the Department of Physical Educa-
tion.

I am enclosing = bulletin outlining the course of
study for students desiring to major in Physical
Education. I am also sending you an announcement of

our compulsory physical conditioning —
Was inaugurated this fall.

Four hours of credit in physical otunatbin ung be
counted toward a degree in most divisions of the Univ-
ersity. However, wiier the plen for compulsory physical
education a student would have eight semesters if he re-
mained in school that long, but only four hours would
be counted toward his graduation. ,
