Mr. Reginald Strait is a well-trained, thoroughly competent instruc-
tor. He organizes his work and carries out his plans with understanding
and ease. His control of pupils is sound and constructive. He is very
successful in his work with students since he maintains a personal inter-
est throughout all of his group activities. He maintains a strong pro-
fessional attitude, is interested in and contributes faithfully to the
life of the school.

Mr. Strait is a gentleman, kind and considerate of all with whom he
works, and maintains high personal standards. He is a good person to be
with young people and works equally well with children of all ages.

Since coming to Chanute, he has organized and put into action the Play
Program for the children in the elementary schools. His program is con-
structive and has proven very successful in giving children an understand-
ing of playing together, taking turns and other habits and attitudes so
necessary to living in a democracy.
