Dear Co-Worker:
GREETINGS!

You are aware that the every-member-canyass which is being con-
ducted by mail from the church office is to close September 19th. However,
past experience has taught us that occasionally some few good members un-
intentionally fail to mail the pledge card in before the deadline.

Our plen is for the men of the church to bring box lunches and
MEET and EAT immediately following church services, At that time we will
discuss procedure for contacting those few members who would still wish to
participate in this worthwhile cause.

We recognize the present gas shortage and believe that with the
cooperation of every member of the committee we will be able to complete
the task with the use of less than ONN-HALF gallon of gasoline each. We
expect there will be but few cards for each team. _

We are counting on your assistance and will see you
SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 19th, 1943
