129 Central Avenue Dayton, Ohio July 16, 1942 Mrs. Alberta Hulteen, Secy., Dept. of Physical Education, Robinson Gymnasiun, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Mrs. Hulteens I have only my memory to rely on in answering your in- quiry about Forrest Lee Hill since my gradebook is packed in Lawrence. However, I am certain it is correct so I shall not hesitate to forward the informatdon. The first quarter of the second semestr a chap mamed Hill was in my social dance class. He had red hair and play- ed on bhe varsity basebell team. I'm certain Mr. Shenk will know who I mean. He received an "A" from the course. I'm not positive of his name but I belféve the boys called him Charlie. Then the second semester I distinctly remember a Forrest Lee Hill who wes withdrawn. Of this I am positive. Probably the college office sent over a notice and I neg) - ected to make out a withdrawal slip for our files and they lost the original. Don't let them pull any of théir usual tricks. I cersainly miss Lawrence end all of my friends. It will not be easy to stay away when September comes. However, I have a grand position with the government. At vresent they are sending me to a school for three weeks and we are covering a six months course so you can see how buzy I am. Please remember me to Mrs. Webster and all of the rest. I hope you have a grand vacation and a pleasant summer. Also take care of tHat son of yours. Sincerely yours, Geille Pf LP wecte OCncceY a ; Cr oe
