me of your unfortunate and painful accident when the oil
stove exploded in your boat.

| It was the first time that I had heard of your un-
fortunate accident and I hasten to write you and extend
my sincere wishes for your speedy recovery. Fred said
that you had been laid up all fall. You must have re-
 geltved some pretty bad burns to knock you out for this
length of time.

Here's hoping that your recovery is speedy and that
