Dear Mr. Sherman,

Your very kind letter dated Octeber 15 with enclosure has been
received by me. Since I have nothing to do with the direction
of inter-collegiate athleties and since I am now Director of
Physical Education, but do coach the basketball and baseball
teams, I am handing your letter to Mr. Earl Falkenstien, who
wes financial secretary under me and who is continuing in the
same capacity under Mr. Gwinn Henry, Director of Athletics and
football coach.

I am very sure that Mr. Palkenstien will be happy to cooperate
with you to the best of his ability. I am sure that you will
hear from him in a very short while.

I desire to congratulate you on the fine work that you're doing
with these young chaps. You are making it possible for them to
enjoy high-lights in sports, and in the doing of this work, you're
stimulating finer interests in young manhood. Their association
with you is very much worth while I am sures
