Allen, Director of Physical Education and Recreation, Varsity Basketball and Baseball Coach, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Dr. Allen: Received your letter of November 21, 1941, with reference to the tpt orade in Physical Education on my transcript, for which I thank you. I believe it would be much better if some action could be taken to have this grade withdrawn from my records, as every time I have occasion to use a transcript in the future, I will have this same difficulty. Then when my records have been corrected, would like to have another transcript sent me, together with a letter explaining the correction attached.thereto and addressed to The Judge Advocate General, War Department, Washington, D. C. Would appreciate your taking this matter up with the Dean, as you suggest. Since you state that the matter was entirely due to an errof in the Physical Education Department, and I should not have been given this grade to start with, it would seem that some action could be taken to withdraw it from my records. Anything you could do for me would be appreciated. With best regards, I remain Sincerely yours, JAMES N. SNYDER, Captain, CAC.
