I em sorry for the delay in replying to your note
of the 7th instant. I have been covered up with the
mass of deteils here at my desk, and have been wmable
to write you sooner.

The best thing to say would be some take-off on
experiences you have had with these boys -- their girls,
or their studies, or some embarrassing point in a game,
