Dear Phog,

Enelosed is a elipping from our local paper. We are
able to get the Topeka radio station at times and do in a
fashion follow the Bix Six games. I remember how you used
to say "eo-Champion" to me -- now you know the "co-champs"
are as good as the Champs, eh? Congratulations —- and
we're proud of you and the team, Saw in the Denver Post
sometime back about you telling same of the fellows --
seems to me it was in Chicago, and I told my wife that
the paper might be critical of your remarks,but I knew
who would be playing a great basketball team in the big

six.

Frosty Com had another fine team at C. U,. this year.
My boss, that is, the district attorney, was a football,

basketball star at C,. U. about 10 years ago.

Phog, give my regards to Bill Hargiss -- I am hoping
to get baek for a vacation sometime after my criminal

trail week this month and commencement time.
the Kansas Relays and the track meets at KU?
