Dear Coach:

I want to thank you for your most courteous
treatment. The visit was most enjoyable. Your talk to
Harold Howey fits my personal beliefs.

It is to be regretted that Harold has more
the complex of a professional athlete rather than that
of a boy desirous of an education. He is not altogether
to blame,for his father= in our employment- is a member
of the C.1I.0. and their doctrines are not the broadest.

I took him to see Coach Hurt and he outlined
things very able and frankly.

My interest is to see K.U. have better foot-
ball. Their basket ball is plenty good; year in and out
it is the "tops" nationally. Harold is changeable but
at present-it is K.U.
