Fordham took the offensive when Loeffler entered the game. He went on a scoring spree, caging three goals and a foul in the space of two minutes, and the Rams were back in the game. Croke continued the streak, scoring three goals, and finally, after dogging Dartmouth for fifteen minutes, Fordham went ahead, 17—16, on Fitzgerald’s long shot, Battle Thrills Crowd -~ The final five minutes of the half produced a battle which thrilled the capacity crowd. Olsen tied it up at 17-all, but Sherry’s goal from half ‘| the length of the floor sent Ford- ham ahead again. An angle shot by Loeffler increased the Ram lead, but Munroe took a pass from Skaug for a goal. Broberg took a pass un- der the basket, tying the game-at 21—21 at the end of the first half. During the first period the Dart- mouth sophomores were outstand- ing, especially Olcen and Munroe, who displayed a superior passing game.
