Dear Phog:

Our mutual friend, Clayton "Chick" Sutherland, tells
me that you will be one of the instructors at a coaching school

to be held in Boone, * o w a, August 18th. Of course, I am very
delighted to think that you are going to be this close to us and

want to take this opportunity to invite you to come to Mason City
Saturday, August 16, for the big annual reunion and rush party

of the Northern Iowa Alumni Club of Phi Kappa Psi. In fact we

not only want you to come, but we want you to be on our program.
All day Saturday we enjoy boating, swimming, tennis and golf, in
the latter of which sport Chick tells me you excel. You will
have a chence to win the Chas. E. Strickland Trophy at our golf
tournament, which will be held at the Mason City Golf Club Saturday
afternoon.

This is a big event, Phog, and we certainly want you to be
on hand end Mrs. Strickland and I would like to have you be our house
guest over the week end. You can leave here in plenty of time
Sunday afternoon to reach Boone,which is only about 85 miles from here.
If you come by train the connections are very convenient from Kansas
City to Mason City, and it goes without saying that we will arrange to
drive you to Boone some time Sunday afternoon.
