Dear Phogs

It was fine to talk with you over the telephone
yesterday, and I was glad of the opportunity to explain
to you my failure to get back to Clear Lake before you left.
Esther had already told me what a fine visit she had with
you, and how much the Senneffs enjoyed you call on them.

All the gang here join me in extending their
appreciation for your taking the time to come up to Mason
City and Clear Lake and help make our annual party a success.

The Stricklands certainly enjoyed having you as
their guest and all of us do hope that you come often.

We are sending your swim trunks to you under separate
cover today and trust that same will reach you in good order.

Looking forward to seeing you in Lawrence some time
this fall, I am with every good wish in the world
