‘Dear Urge Sams;

I acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 15th
instants TJ did not realize the distance from Chapman to
Manhattan. Somehow my geography was bad and I was
it was just on the other side of Manhatten when in reality
it is on the other side of Junction Citye

We always get our boys up at 5:00 P.M. in the
afternoon, take a short walk and eat at 5:30. From then
on wo are very busy with chalk talks, etee and transportation,
bandaging, taping and getting ready for the game. For that
reason I believe we had better postpone our arrangement:

Telso did not realize that high school work entails
so much Pe&e work in the late afternoone I was perhaps
that you could get awey sometime after lunch, around 33306 That
is the time I put the boys te bed and that is when I would have
my talk with yous

Doubtless you will be coming te Lawrence or I may be
om @ speaking tour either to Abilene or Selina and sanchow
we will try to arrange a time that wo can talk over the pose
sibility of your being with us this next summer,
