ROSENSTAHL, ATTORNEY FRED HORN, SECRETARY STATE OF KANSAS STATE COMMISSION OF REVENUE AND TAXATION TOPEKA December 27, 1940 Dr. Forrest C. Allen Director of Physical Education Varsity Basketball Coach University of Kansas Lewrence, Kansas Dear Dr. Allen: Just received your letter and am very happy to hear you say that it is possible for the Seneca Basketball Teams to be guests of the University Athletic Association. The plan I had in mind was this, we would take six boys from the Seneca Public School and six boys from the Seneca Parochial School as guests. I have two season tickets which I purchased the first of the year which will take care of the drivers of each car group. Further plans will be made for their visit to the campus in this manner‘?. The Seneca students from the Hill will entertain these boys at an informal luncheon held probably at the Union Building. That, however, is tentative and merely a thought of the moment. It has yet to be worked out. I appreciate most heartily your cooperation in securing these permissions. The game which would be my selection for the boys to see would be the Kansas State game on February 25 as Kansas State is the competitive school in our district and the fact we'll really wallop them off their feet would be good psychology for our visiting basketball players. If you have further suggestions in ways for entertainment for our squad, would be very happy to have you write me. Again thank you. very trul nro Ad . Jon « Slocum JWS /mn
