‘Tt was nice to hear from you and I am sorry that
I am now rushing away to play the University of Wichitag hence
this letter will of necessity be brief, :

it was good to see you, Ashton, and I wish that we might
have had more time for a visit, but you kmow how those things go.
I just received a letter from Dre Ray "Us" Sermon and I have answered
it todaye He wanted to came up and officiate some games in the
National Collegiate Tournament, but it was net possible for me to
make Grrangementg, Ug is practicing and doing mighty welle It
wes good to hear from him.

I trust that you and Hubert have a chance to get together
and renew some of the good times that you had in Independences

It will be good to see you beck in Kansas City, when
and if you can make the comections,
