Announcement of Dinner
in honor of

Professor and lirs. U. G. Mitchell

 

Arrangements are being made for a dinner
im honor of Professor and lirs, U. G. Mitchell to be
held in the Kansas Room of the Memorial Union on
Friday evening, January 31, at 6:30 o'clock, All
friends of Professor and iirs, Mitchell are invited
to join in thus expressing to them appreciation of
their fine service to the commnity as a whole and
to the University in particular, The presence of
numerous members of the faculty, their wives and
friends will be especially appreciated,

The dinner is being held at this time be-
cause Professor Mitchell will be on leave of absence
during the second semester. He will return next fall
to resume regular work in the Department of Mathematics,

Tickets for the dinner will cost 75¢ each —7
and may be obtained by mailing a check to Professor
H, E, Jordan, 209 Frank Strong Hall, or by calling in
person upon Professor Jordan, Professor G, Ww. Smith,
205 Frank Strong Hall, or Evangeline Clark in the
Graduate Office, All tickets must be purchased not
later than Tuesday, January 28.
