in the fall of the year the Chamber of Commerce has held a 4-H Club Fair,

at which time members compete with their projects. The requirements for the
banker's banquet in the fall is that they complete their project which they
start in the spring, making satisfactory report to the Farm bureau office;
also, they must attend four regular meetings of their club and this year they
were required to exhibit their project at the Chamber of Commerce Faire

This year the two health champions were Jonn Enyert for the boys and Wilma Lee
Johnson for the Girls. Health is one of their chief objectives of the 4-H Clup
work. Many faithful leaders live within the county. me of the outstanding
leaders is Mrs. Howard Henry at big springs, who has been a club leader for
15 or more years. Livestock is not entirely confined to the boys, since |
Kuth Brune with her Champion Guernsey has taken prizes at Topeka dnd Hutchinson
Esther Jones has won distinction in the showing of her Ayrshire.

z6é5 invitations are being sent out this year. ‘his covers the 4-H Club
members and also the Vocational Agricultural students in Liberty Memorial
High school under sill Essick and those of the Vinland High School under
