If I had been able to make a
recommendation to you, I would have wired.

I checked this matter with
Dr. Oberteuffer, who does not find any suggestion
to make with reference to such a candidate as you
seem to require. Practically our entire graduating
group in the Major Physical Education course have
been placed, which accounts for the fact that at
this time there doesn't seem to be anybody left
we would care to recommend. I am sorry, because I
would like to have one of our men with you in your
Department.
