Dear Dr. Allen

One of the very interesting days of my field trip was the time
Spent in Lawrence, Kansas. I appreciated all the courtesies
you showed me when visiting your University. It. was a pleasure
to meet with your group of students and talk with various
members afterwards. It was so kind of you to drive me around
the Gampus of your University and the town. I shall never for-
get those gorgeous views whenever you looked from the top of
the Mountain where the school is situated.

At the National Education. Association Convention in Milwaukee
I saw the "GOAL-HI" conspiciously displayed at the Medart
exhibit, and often saw crowds gathered around it. It surely
deondeves its popularity and I am glad for your success in
designing such a usable piece of apparatus for play and
recreation.

If you ever have any time to visit the Metropolitan when you
are in New York you can be sure a welcome awaits you. Thank
you again for your kindness to me on my visit to: the University
of Kansas this summer session.
