Dear Phogg,

Iam writing in regard to a rule interpretation, on which,

we would like to have the correct decision.

Thés is the situation: 1. an overtime period 2. Team A is
taking the ball out of bounds 3. Bill of team # is awarded
the ball by the official 4. Bill has his Beet out of bounds
facing the court and then lays the ball in bounds. With both
hands still resting on the ball and the ball still on the floor
Bill yells "set it up" then Bill takes his hands offthe ball. te
and motions for Jim to take it out of bounds. Jim picks up(””
the ball and shoots. He made the basket and the game was over
according to the official. :
Will you be kind enough to give us the proper interpretation.
