end in 1934 he was assistant coach to Ts Ce Reid, a lansas man who
played on my footbali team im 1920, the year I coached it. Reid is
athletic director at Central Missouri State Teachers College, Warrens-

graduated Schaalke helped me with spring basketball practice auc he
helped Ad Lindsey with his spring football practices Lindsey states
that he thinks Schaeke has e fine imowledge of fmdauentals and is a
very splendid coach. uring my spring practice I felt that Sehaake. ~~
did a better job of coaching than any young coach that I have met for
a long time. He mows the necessary and important fundamembals and

he is in a position to denonstrate them with mrked ability.

Bethany College where he has been athletic director and coach of all
sports dom there. They were in the fight for the state clmpicnship —

this year until the last game, being tossed out by Baker University.
