ERNST F. PIHLBLAD, PRESIDENT EMORY LINDQUIST, VICE PRESIDENT JENS STENSAAS, TREASURER OFFICE OF ADMINISTRATION BETHANY COLLEGE LINDSBORG, KANSAS January 16, 1938. Dr. F. C.Allen, University of Kansas, Lawrence, Kansas. Dear Doc: I was wondering if there was anything else I could do to help me obtain the job at South Dakota. I had.to fill out a formal application blank they sent me, and have returned it together with my transcript. This was returned to them on December twenty-second and I have not heard from them since. However, the men whose names I gave as references have all gotten questionaires. At least, the ones here in Lindsborg have . I have already written a letter to Mr. Landon, thanking him for his kind letter to Dr. Pugsley, and thought I would thenk the men there in Lawrence when I see them. Now, if there'is anything else I can do, please do not hesitate in suggesting it to me. I have not written:to Pittsburg yet but have been thinking very strongly of it. I believe the more irons you have in the fire the better chance you have to get a job. Hoping to hear from you soon, I remain Sincerely yours, Coach.
